Moran Family of Brands Announces 2019 Franchisees of the Year
MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. (PRWEB) September 25, 2019 -- Moran Family of Brands, one of the nation’s leading franchises of general automotive repair, transmission repair, window tinting and driver safety products, announced its annual Franchisee of the Year winners for 2019.
Franchisee of the Year Award winners were named in each of Moran’s franchise brands. Franchisees eligible for the award must have demonstrated Moran’s core values of D.R.I.V.E. (Dedication, Respect, Integrity, Vision, Enthusiasm). They also exhibit outstanding service to their customers and provide support for fellow franchisees and the entire system. Voting for the awards was done by Moran franchisees.
“We would like to congratulate each of our Franchisee of the Year winners,” said Peter Baldine, President of Moran Family of Brands. “They are all longtime and successful members of the Moran system who have provided guidance and support to our other franchise owners. The selection from their peers is a testament to the value and leadership they provide to the other Moran franchisees.”
Scott Hester was named winner in the transmission division of Mr. Transmission, Multistate Transmission and Dr. Nick’s Transmission. Hester owns a Mr. Transmission shop in Decatur, Georgia. He has worked at the store for the past 23 years and owned it since 2006. He has won Moran’s annual Award of Excellence recognition each year as owner. Hester’s father, Lowell, is a franchise owner in Sandy Springs, Georgia and was named Franchisee of the Year in 2011 and 2016.
The winners in the Milex Complete Auto Care brand were Tim and Laura Rodifer. The Rodifers have owned their current Milex/Mr. Transmission shop in Johnson City, Tennessee since 2010. The couple owned a pair of Mr. Transmission stores for several years before selling both in 2006. Tim worked in the Moran Family of Brands franchisee support center for four years before returning as a franchise owner at their current co-branded location nine years ago. This is the second time the Rodifers were named Franchisees of the Year, having also won the award in 2013.
For the third consecutive year and fourth time overall, Randy Durham was named Alta Mere Franchisee of the Year. He has owned an Alta Mere The Automotive Outfitters store in Plano, TX since 2003. Durham has served as a mentor and resource for new Alta Mere franchisees who have entered the system over the last several years. Durham previously won the Alta Mere Franchisee of the Year Award in 2013, 2017 and 2018.
Franchisee of the Year winners received an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to attend the International Franchise Association Franchisee of the Year Award Dinner on September 9. Moran franchisees received their awards at the IFA ceremony and had an opportunity to meet with their congressional representatives while in Washington to discuss issues concerning their franchised businesses in their local districts.
