Morgan Truck Body Announces Details of New Ohio Plant
Morgan Truck Body, LLC, North America's largest manufacturer of light- and medium-duty truck bodies, announces the expansion of its manufacturing footprint in the Midwest.
MORGANTOWN, Pa., July 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Morgan Truck Body, LLC, North America's largest manufacturer of light- and medium-duty truck bodies, announces the expansion of its manufacturing footprint in the Midwest. The new facility is located at 600 East Chestnut St. in Orrville, OH, approximately one-half hour west of Canton. It will be capable of producing a combination of 4,000 dry freight and refrigerated truck bodies annually, supporting both retail and fleet customers. Morgan expects to employ approximately 140 team members in a facility that will encompass roughly 210,000 square feet of production, office, and warehouse space. When combined with Morgan's acquisition of Multivans in Bolton, Ontario and the opening of a plant in Plainfield, Connecticut in late 2018, the Orrville plant represents Morgan's 14th in the US and Canada.
Morgan has been the leader in Final Mile transportation solutions for more than 65 years.
