Elie Khoury, formerly Executive Vice President of Operations for Aimbridge Hospitality, joins Murphy Asset Management as Managing Director, bringing more than 30 years of experience managing large portfolios, brand relations, new builds and transitions, and all aspects of hotel operations.
Khoury’s client base spans REITs, private equity firms, pension funds, investment groups, and institutional lenders. Previous operational positions held include multiple leadership roles with Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
Khoury currently serves as the 1st Vice President for the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association (THLA), the largest state hotel association in the United States. Previously, during his service as the President of the Oakland, California CVB, he was an integral contributor to the rebranding of the city of Oakland and developed social programs to promote the downtown district.
