NCDOT Seeks Commentary From Business Community Regarding Public Contracting Access
NCDOT Disparity Study Public Hearings Begin June 10th
RALEIGH, N.C., June 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With future contract opportunities on the horizon and a desire to be inclusive of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged businesses, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), in partnership with Griffin & Strong, P.C. invite the North Carolina business community to the 2019 Disparity Study public hearings.
Beginning June 10th, business owners and organizations across the state are invited to a series of meetings to comment on their experiences, positive and negative, on working with, or seeking contract opportunities with NCDOT. Comments may also include recommendations on ways to improve the contracting process. Five hearings will be held across the state in Asheville, Wilmington, Greensboro, Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham. Event dates and locations are listed below.
People of all races, backgrounds, experiences are welcome to come testify about public contracting and business opportunity. Please note this meeting is being presided over by Griffin & Strong, P.C. and not NCDOT. Be aware that everything said during this hearing will be recorded and may potentially be used as evidence for the Disparity Study. All comments will also become public record.
