FORT WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) August 01, 2018 -- Certrec, a leading regulatory compliance provider for NERC and FERC compliance, announced today that Steve Dixon and Steve Snider have joined its Office of NERC Compliance (ONC) practice as Senior Project Managers.
Office of NERC Compliance Services Director Bob Biggs said, “Both individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Certrec, which will further help us to meet the needs of our growing client base.”
Steve Dixon
Mr. Dixon has more than 40 years of experience, including the areas of NERC reporting, training, licensing basis documents, and technical specifications. He recently retired as a consulting licensing engineer from Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. “I look forward to serving our clients by sharing my knowledge and expertise to enhance and strengthen their NERC Compliance programs,” Dixon said.
“Steve Dixon comes to us from a long career working in the areas of nuclear power plant technical support and regulatory affairs,” Biggs said. “Additionally, he brings experience in Generator Owner (GO) and Operator (GOP) NERC compliance implementation and ongoing maintenance within TRE and ERCOT.”
Steve Snider
Mr. Snider has more than 40 years of experience, including the areas of information technology, cyber security, and training. Snider previously worked as a Network and SAN Administrator for more than 24 years. “I am very pleased to be joining the Certrec Team,” Snider said. “As a part of the Office of NERC Compliance, I look forward to servicing our customers’ Compliance needs.”
“Steve Snider enhances our capability in the area of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) by bringing with him decades of experience and knowledge of computer networks, firewalls, controls, and infrastructure,” Biggs said.
Both individuals will join a team whose philosophy is conservative when approaching NERC compliance. One size does not fit all in our industry. A “standardized” approach to NERC compliance, using a software application or cookie cutter templates, does not result in successful NERC compliance programs. NERC compliance must be “baked in” not “bolted on” to an organization. With a variety of specializations, our team is better able to help our clients achieve their goals.
With Certrec, your NERC work is done once and done right.
