NFP Welcomes Industry Specialist Emily Bourdeau to its Environmental Practice
Addition brings significant environment risk experience, expertise and leadership
NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides property and casualty (P&C), corporate benefits, retirement, and individual solutions, today announced Emily Bourdeau has joined the company as a vice president in the Environmental practice within NFP's Specialty division. Bourdeau joins a team focused on helping clients identify the risks, exposures and losses related to remodeling, restructuring and developing buildings and land. She will provide expertise and placement support for solutions that serve each client's unique and complex environmental insurance needs.
Bourdeau joins NFP from Willis Tower Watson where she served as a senior broker. Prior to that, she worked as a vice president in Marsh's Environmental Group, as an environmental broker for Aon Risk Solutions and an account executive for The Mogil Organization. In all, she brings to NFP more than a decade of focused environmental risk management experience. In addition to her insurance industry work, Bourdeau is a world-class athlete who competed in the 2016 Modern Pentathlon Olympic Trials. She reports to Chris Alviggi, managing director, Environmental Practice Leader, at NFP.
Bourdeau earned her Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and her A.B. in Environmental Studies from Brown University. She also served as a board member of the Brown University Sustainability Consulting Partnership.
