Nerd Street Gamers Books Retail Deal with We Are Nations
Localhost facilities will offer esports apparel and gear to visiting competitors
PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nerd Street Gamers, the national esports infrastructure company dedicated to powering competitive opportunities for gamers, has partnered with esports apparel leader We Are Nations to build the first retail spaces inside Localhost facilities. These retail spaces will be stocked with merchandise supplied by We Are Nations, including apparel celebrating esports teams and players.
To launch the partnership, Nerd Street Gamers and We Are Nations will be hosting a Black Friday event at Localhost Philly and Localhost Denver. As part of the event, both Localhosts will offer special prices on esports apparel, gaming equipment, and Localhost gift cards.

Merchandise and apparel make up an important and growing segment of the esports business. Analysts estimate that merchandise and tickets accounted for up to $103 million in esports revenue in 2019, about 10 percent of the segment's overall earnings.
As part of this partnership, two retail spaces will open in Nerd Street Gamers' Localhost facilities in Denver and Philadelphia, creating a unique channel for amateur and semi-pro gamers to purchase the gear and merchandise of top esports teams and players.
