Anchor Legal Group, PLLC is proud to announce the addition of three new attorneys to the firm: George T. Dillon III, Christopher A. Pocta, and Derek P. Holser.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., July 1, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- George will be joining the firm as Senior Counsel, Managing Attorney – Real Estate Division with practice areas in real estate, business formation, estate planning, and IRS defense. He has closed on more than 10,000 real estate transactions in Virginia and has participated in multiple civil actions involving land use, landlord tenant laws, and civil torts. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C. and is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Christopher joins the firm as Counsel and will specialize in real estate, business law, estate planning, landlord/tenant law, contracts, and civil litigation. Chris earned his Juris Doctor from the Regent University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Virginia. During law school, Chris served as President of the Federalist Society, Coordinator for the Trial Advocacy Board, and was a Graduate Assistant for the Center for Ethical Formation and Legal Education Reform.
Derek will join Anchor Legal Group, PLLC, as an attorney Of Counsel. Derek will bring years of experience working in corporate compliance with a concentration in nonprofit formation and management, and intellectual property. Throughout his career, he has worked with dozens of churches and Christian charities. He also has experience in personal and corporate tax negotiations with the IRS, intellectual property rights via copyright and trademark application, and renewal compliance. He is admitted to practice in Washington State and is a member of the American Bar Association.
