New Book from Routledge shows Leaders how to Build Trust Intentionally
The second edition of "Becoming a Trustworthy Leader" shares the wisdom of leaders from a variety of industries on how they have built trust throughout their careers.
CARY, N.C., Sept. 26, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In this second edition on trustworthy leadership, Business School Professors Karen and Aneil Mishra outline how leaders can build trust at different points in their careers. They begin by sharing how new graduates can demonstrate how their individual contributions are trustworthy, allowing them to be promoted to team leader positions. Likewise, as team leaders build trust with their teams, they then become ready for organizational-level leadership. Trust is built intentionally, by purposefully and strategically leading yourself and leading others.
Woven throughout the book are stories from a diverse set of leaders who have created lasting significant results for their organizations and communities. We hear from them directly, as they share their advice based on what worked what didn't.
One leader in particular, Bob Lintz, a former General Motors executive and current Cleveland Clinic Trustee, is profiled in each chapter, so readers can see how he was able to be intentional across his career to build trust with his colleagues, making his organization exceptional in its quality and profitability outcomes.
There are leaders you have heard of such John Rogers, Jr., co-founder and co-CEO of Ariel Investments, and others who might be new to you. Each leader offers their perspective on what it means to be intentional and trustworthy.
