New Historical Fiction Focuses on Family Relationships with Romance, Drama and Small Town Life
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (PRWEB) May 08, 2019 -- A mother living in the 1960s must learn how to let go of her children and find a new beginning in Rose Ash’s fun tale of love, friendship and the challenges of life, “Love at the Soda Fountain” (published by Archway Publishing).
Young adults falling in love in small towns must deal with trials and tribulations through the worries and concerns of their overprotective parents. Elizabeth frets when her daughter Sarah elopes with Robert who Elizabeth believes has a questionable background. Her other daughter, Brenda begins a whirlwind romance with Harry, an airman who is based in the United Kingdom. Sarah and Brenda share a strong bond as they navigate creating their own lives.
“I want readers to enjoy the small town characters and story,” Ash says. She hopes her book teaches readers about “the importance of family, friends, and the communities we live in.”
