New 'LOCALVISION Network BEST' TV show is First-ever Nationally Streamed OTT, TV show to be produced locally by San Francisco based TV station, KTSF in English

With an ever growing audience in local TV ratings, as well as on its national streaming app, legendary broadcaster KTSF is looking at taking the next step in its growth. As the longest running U.S. TV station to carry Asian language programming, KTSF looks to expand their positive ratings momentum by producing content that spotlights the best places to eat, shop and play in the San Francisco Bay Area with a new show in English. In 1989, KTSF was the first in the nation to ever produce a local Chinese language newscast. The station still primarily serves the very large Bay Area Asian market with Mandarin and Cantonese News and Programming. KTSF's programming is rich in diversity by also airing news and content in Tagalog for Filipinos, various programming for Vietnamese viewers, programs for Koreans and even shows for Indian and Persian audiences.

Fast forward 30 years since that first KTSF Chinese language newscast and it is a 'strategic' move for the 'LOCALVISION Network BEST' show to be produced all in English and to be streamed nationwide says KTSF General Manager, Mark Antonitis. The LOCALVISION Network BEST show will be the second English-only show produced and broadcast by KTSF after the show 'Stir' launched 15 years ago in 2004. Bay Area native and popular TV host, Jennie Mai, current co-host of nationally televised show 'The Real', was one of the original co-hosts of 'Stir' on KTSF that had a two-year run. The big difference between Stir and the 'LOCALVISION Network BEST' show is that it will be streamed and available to anyone, anywhere, on any screen in the United States and Canada. San Francisco is a major tourist destination so local, as well as national clients will benefit from being a part of the show based on the growing audience watching through the KTSF app.

Recent figures show that KTSF is the number one streaming app on SBTV Syncbak that manages the KTSF app. The audience watching the KTSF app is growing in the Bay Area and is also coming from cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Fresno, Las Vegas and even as far away as Canada.

Host of the new 'LOCALVISION Network BEST' TV Show is nationally recognized business leader, Javier Ortiz.
