New MemberPress LMS Updates Designed to ‘Optimize User Revenue’, Increase Student Success
CEDAR CITY, Utah (PRWEB) June 29, 2023 -- MemberPress, the world’s most widely used monetization and membership plugin for WordPress, today announced updates to its learning management system (LMS) add-on, Courses. The new features include certification expiration and sharing, and new organizational options for the online course curriculum.
Course creators can now add completion and expiration dates to course certificates. This timestamp, as well as a force reset option, requires students to retake courses to stay up-to-date on specific skill sets or industry knowledge.
MemberPress developers expect these commercially driven features to increase course sales for MemberPress users.
In response to user demand, MemberPress also developed a new way for students to share certificates. With the shareable link feature, learners can copy and paste their certificates to online applications and job platforms.
In addition to making courses more attractive to students, developers hope the shareability feature will increase course visibility for course creators.
To minimize the problem of learner distraction on the course curriculum page, MemberPress also designed two new accordion sections. These sections allow students to expand or condense the curriculum view, enabling them to concentrate on the course materials they are currently studying.
