New True Crime Memoir Recounts Events that Happened Nearly 50 Years Ago
Author announces memoir 'Bad Moon Rising'
HARRISONBURG, Va., July 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Michael Morrison and his girlfriend, Debra Means, never made it home from their prom in 1969. "Bad Moon Rising" (published by Archway Publishing) by Ed and Mindy Morrison explores the truth behind the murder of Morrison's brother.
"Bad Moon Rising" explores the kidnapping and murder of Morrison's brother and his girlfriend, while exposing other crimes Marshall Wayne Stauffer, serial rapist and killer, committed throughout his life. The memoir involved research and evidence concerning the case that was opened in 1969 through newspaper accounts, interviews and previous survivor testimonies from those affected by Stauffer.
Morrison wrote this memoir from his perspective along his quest to discover truth and get closure. "Exposing the killer and discovering what really happened to Mike and Debbie — I was no longer a 17 year old stuck in that awful moment fifty years ago," Morrison said.
