New View Team Members Receive a Combined Six Microsoft Certifications
New View Strategies is pleased to announce its team has received a combined six Microsoft certifications, including four Microsoft Certified Trainer certifications and two inaugural Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certifications.
MILWAUKEE, Dec. 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A long-standing symbol of professional teaching capabilities, being certified as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) requires completing a rigorous program to demonstrate one's instructional skills under the tutelage of a one or more existing MCTs. In addition, MCT candidates must pass one of the designated Microsoft technical certifications, proving their competency in one of the Microsoft technologies or tools. According to Microsoft, MCTs "are the premier technical and instructional experts in Microsoft technologies." To continue improving their technical and instructional skills, MCTs are required to renew their certification annually by demonstrating proficiency via class participant evaluations and maintain their technical competency through regular updates.
Four New View team members have joined Kerry Peters as Microsoft Certified Trainers with the following Microsoft technical certifications:
Cari Corozza – Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Expert
Cynthia Priebe – Microsoft Office Specialist: PowerPoint Associate
Mark Rhodes and Robb Delprado – Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate
"At the onset of 2020 we set this as a team goal, and I could not be prouder of the team for digging deep and achieving these certifications in the face of all that's happened this year," reflected Kerry Peters, CEO. "With over 50 classes in New View's curriculum, it's critical that our team is as knowledgeable as they can be to ensure that our overall quality and value continues to be exceptional. We owe it to our clients to always be improving and pursuing the MCT certifications ensures that we are incorporating proven training techniques into our adult learning methodology."
Concurrently, two New View team members had the opportunity to work with Microsoft this summer to develop and launch the first certification for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. To develop and roll out such a significant certification in record time required a team of global experts, and Kerry Peters and Cynthia Priebe were called upon to help. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Certification was released in October. According to the Microsoft Certifications website, the exam is available to partners and end-users, and measures one's skills with:
Set up Business Central (20-25%)
Configure financials (25-30%)
Configure sales and purchasing (10-15%)
Perform Business Central operations (30-35%)
"We jumped at the chance to assist with this critically important effort," said Kerry when asked about the experience. "This aligned so well with our company's Core Value of involvement with the Business Central Community, we were fortunate to be included in such a distinguished team." As members of the task force who created the exam, Kerry and Cynthia were awarded the Certification. She continued, "While working on these certifications we also presented 19 classes and sessions at the Community Summit North America and Dynamicscon 2020. It's been a busy time but we're deeply grateful to have had the opportunity."
