Nick Freund Joins The Wilshire Group as Manager of Revenue Integrity

In this role, Nick will focus on engagements with healthcare organizations with a goal of increasing efficiency and ease of use while reducing revenue leakage across the Revenue Cycle.

Previously, Nick was a Consultant Advisor with Sagacious Consultants and Accenture where he focused on strategic revenue and charging optimization initiatives, maximizing value for his clients across their revenue cycle. Nick has led full revenue cycle initiatives to improve key metrics and financial performance. These initiatives spanned from clinical charging, to billing and denial management. He has worked collaboratively with leadership across clinical services, revenue integrity, IT, and billing offices to correct workflow gaps, solidify reconciliation and charging processes, identify revenue leakage, and deliver provider metrics and dashboards.
Prior to Sagacious, Nick worked at Epic on the Hospital Billing implementation team. He has worked with numerous clients of all sizes managing installations, initiating revenue investigation projects, and auditing billing office workflows for process and system build improvement.
Nick received his BS in Business Economics and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and now resides in Houston, TX. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time outdoors, including: hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
