O.M.E Gear Launching Kickstarter on Oct. 30 for Outdoors Product Wanderr

O.M.E. Gear is an outdoors brand co-founded by Julie Weldon and Stacey Pierce. Twenty years ago, Weldon’s parents initially dreamed up the original idea of a 2-in-1 chair/cart product that would solve the common frustrations of lugging items in the outdoors.
This 4-in-1 cart that converts from a cart to 3 different chairs (a low to the ground chair, a fully reclinable lounger, and a higher camping/field chair) will solve a problem everyone faces from attending sporting events to camping to a day at the beach. The Wanderr will also debut at The Outdoor Retailer Show in Denver, CO on November 8-11, 2018.
To honor her father, Julie decided to name the product The Wanderr to coincide with a playful nickname he’s been given by his wife and 6 children. Julie tells the story that her Dad has never met a stranger, so he can often be found out “wandering” and making a kind and lasting impact on this world.
