One Kid Preps to Launch Highly Anticipated Road Coat Transition Line for Fall
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) May 30, 2019 -- Most parents think they’re doing everything right as they buckle their little ones into their car seats before hitting the road. What most don’t realize is that their level of safety depends upon the layers of clothing they have on. A winter jacket creates such significant extra space between the child and car seat harness that on impact, crash tests show children can easily fly out of their car seats meant to keep them secure.
Keeping kids safer on roadways, One Kid first created The Road CoatⓇ as the first of its kind winter jacket to keep a car seat harness safely in place as kids stay bundled up. Recognizing that car seat safety applies even when thinner layers are worn, the children’s outerwear company plans to introduce The Road CoatⓇ Transitionline.
Their newest rendition of the The Road CoatⓇ is made with a lightly quilted jersey lining and wind and water resistant poly shell fabric with the right amount of warmth for when the temperature drops but it isn’t freezing. It also comes in cool colors and prints to capture children’s eyes. All Road Coats are machine washable and easily packable with a compact pouch.
The design works by zipping up the inner layer of the coat, then positioning shoulder strap into the split collar and non slip surface. After parents buckle their child securely, they can adjust the chest clip height at armpit level above the coat’s red alignment marker. For extra comfort as an option, parents can zip the outer layer over the harness for extra warmth and helps prevent the child from lowering, playing and opening the chest clip buckle.
