Online Recording Studio Tunedly To Limit Sign Up Numbers
Online recording studio and music publishing company Tunedly has announced it will limit its membership numbers starting in late-November 2018 in an effort to provide the most possible value to those already working with the Tunedly team.
HOUSTON, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The online recording studio and music publisher Tunedly has announced that it will start limiting sign up numbers from songwriters starting late November 2018, in response to their ever-growing popularity with songwriters and other musicians. The Tunedly platform allows members to collaborate with some of today's most successful session musicians, in the songwriting and recording process. Formerly open to all, after November, songwriters will have to undergo a free application process before being able to join.
The company has recently shifted its focus to music publishing, signing some of the best songs from its user base to exclusive publishing contracts and pushing those songs towards major artist placements or sync license deals in film, television or to be used in advertisements. Co-Founder of Tunedly, Chris Erhardt, feels focusing the company's efforts on a limited number of users will allow them to better help these songwriters develop and create more high-quality music, with the aim of signing them to Tunedly's publishing arm in true win-win fashion.
"We want to focus on our songwriters more like a traditional music publisher would providing customized training, organizing co-writing sessions and just be there for them in any other way needed so they can be the best songwriters possible," commented Erhardt. "We have the combination of skilled session musicians on one hand and industry experience on the other, that can be the deciding factors that take a talented songwriter to the next level, fast."
Songwriters across the U.S. have been joining Tunedly to be able to collaborate with session musicians located in places like Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles, taking advantage of the online platform's ability to remove the need to be in the same brick and mortar studio at the same time and place.
Tunedly's session musicians include Grammy Award nominees and winners, Emmy Awards nominees and winners, on top of their contributions to a long list of chart hits, both in the U.S. and across the globe.
Other popular perks songwriters can take advantage of as Tunedly members are free demo recordings, free automated mastering services and access to live webinars from industry veterans including songwriter Alex Forbes and hit producer Harvey Mason Jr.
Songwriters interested in being part of the Tunedly experience should act quickly if they would like to avoid potentially having to wait until a spot opens up for them due to the soon to be enacted sign up limits.
