Originally conceived in a dream with God, the games were developed over the last several years by Catherine Osilama an accountant by day. She promised God she would figure out what the message meant and eventually she succeeded (while also getting her PHD) and developed a new game like nothing on the market today. Taking Christians on a biblical journey from Genesis to Revelations, the Word and the LivinWord allow all players to complete their journey by knowing different verses of the Bible from the various books in the Old and New Testament.
The Word is based on the New King James Bible, the first English language translation of the Bible and the standard Bible for Protestant denominations. The LivinWord is based on the Catholic Bible, the first Latin translation, which contains seven additional Old Testament books and is used in Catholic churches. The game comes with an initial 50 verses to start the game and additional sets of verses have been developed. While the initial games are available in English, a Spanish translation has been developed and more languages are on the way.
