Over $300,000 in Barton College Scholarships to be awarded at 2020 Carolina Games Summit
Barton College will again be participating in the annual Carolina Games Summit at The Maxwell Center in Goldsboro, NC. This year they plan to award 153 scholarships totaling over $300,000 on Friday January 31st 6pm to 11pm and Saturday February 1st at 10am to 9pm. That is enough scholarships for every Carolina Games Summit first, second, and third place esports competition winner to receive one.
GOLDSBORO, N.C., Jan. 31, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Barton College will again be participating in the annual Carolina Games Summit at The Maxwell Center in Goldsboro, NC. This year they plan to award 153 scholarships totaling over $300,000 on Friday January 31st 6 pm to 11 pm and Saturday February 1st at 10 am to 9 pm. That is enough scholarships for every Carolina Games Summit first, second, and third place esports competition winner to receive one.

Barton College competes in a variety of games in the National Association of Collegiate Esports, American Video Game League, Collegiate Starleague, and TESPA. The list includes League of Legends, Rocket League, CS: GO, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, Apex Legends, Super Smash Bros, Paladins, Smite, Fortnite, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Madden, FIFA, and NBA 2K.
