PK Safety chooses Akeneo PIM and StrikeTru for end to end eCommerce transformation
HOUSTON, Nov. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- StrikeTru, a digital services firm, announced today another PIM Transformation project with PK Safety, a leading retailer and distributor of industrial safety products based out of California.
The project is scheduled to go live in Q1 of 2021, and will help PK Safety address & overcome their product data management and syndication challenges, while de-risking and accelerating the process of migrating their eCommerce platform from the current BigCommerce V2 store to a BigCommerce V3 store.

The integrated solution proposal for PK Safety consists of 3 parts, introduction of a single source for all product information, aggregation and onboarding of supplier product data into Akeneo PIM, and a configurable Akeneo PIM<>BigCommerce Connector solution that will enable them to increase the breadth and depth of product lineups, and better support their e-commerce operations.
StrikeTru will deploy an end-to-end Akeneo powered smallPIM solution for PK Safety. A robust supplier portal from Vesta Ecommerce will eliminate the bulk of repetitive manual tasks by automating the process of sourcing product data & preparing it for the new PIM system. StrikeTru's Akeneo PIM for BigCommerce Connector will automate the distribution of clean and rich product data & updates into the upgraded BigCommerce v3 store.
As competition ramps up, eCommerce businesses that build a strategy with PIM at its foundation will realize a faster rate of success now and in the long term. A centralized hub for product information that provides real-time visibility into data flows makes it much easier to maintain a consistent presence across products and channels.
