(PRWEB) September 12, 2019 -- PMI Chicagoland Chapter is hosting its 9th Annual PMI Symposium: How to Align Strategically to Achieve Competitive Advantage through Discipline, Planning and Execution at Meridian Banquet & Conference Center, 1701 W. Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 - Friday, October 18, 2019 from 7am to 5pm. Join us to create a Competitive Advantage Through Strategic Alignment and earn up to 8 PDUs.
We all need to be highly competent and competitive from an individual, team and corporate perspective. This requires great strategy, but also demands discipline, planning and execution. Key to this is the human element – remember that culture eats strategy for lunch!
The PMI Chicagoland 9th annual PM Symposium is just the place to pick up the key learnings needed to help one lead teams through successful execution. PMI Chicagoland Chapter is excited to present THREE Keynote Speakers for the symposium! These well-known individuals, well-respected in their field of project management, will provide thought-provoking, useful insight anyone can take back and apply at work. Opening keynote speaker Alan Mallory, will be speaking on the topic “Project Everest: A Hybrid Approach for Reaching New Heights in Project Management.” Alan will address the passion, commitment and resilience that is needed to reach new heights in all that individuals do, as well as the strategies and tools that allow great leaders and committed teams to achieve breakthrough performance. Post Lunch Keynote speaker, Jacy Imilkowski will be speaking on “The Brilliance of Resilience: Beating Burnout on Our Most Challenging Projects.” Jacy plans to teach on the key skills to create psychologically safe spaces that support resilience in teams and oneself. All should come away as a strong, adaptable team leader that plans for challenge and cultivates resilient teams. This open, honest, and funny program will look at how to embrace imperfection and choose resilience and growth over burnout and frustration. Closing keynote speaker, Ruth Pearce will speak on the topic “The Strategy of Character: Measuring and Aligning Character for Success!” Ruth’s closing will allow individuals discover what one can do to understand their character and the character of their stakeholders, how to be more engaged and how to play to the strengths of others. The result will be the alignment of one’s strengths strategically, making oneself a more effective Project Manager.
