Palatine Family Law Attorney Donates 85 Pounds of Peanut Butter and $500 to the Food Pantry on Wheels

PALATINE, Ill., Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Earlier this summer, The Law Office of Nicholas W. Richardson, P.C., hosted a charity event that gathered more than 85 pounds of peanut butter in donations to benefit Palatine's Mobile Food Pantry on Wheels, part of All Saints Lutheran Church's Food Pantry. Attorney Richardson also donated $500 to further the Mobile Food Pantry's efforts.
During the summer, without access to school breakfast and lunch, families in need may struggle to ensure children receive adequate nutrition. Peanut butter is a commonly requested item that sees an increase in popularity during summer.
In addition to the peanut butter donation, Attorney Nick Richardson made a $500 donation to purchase other pantry essentials needed to help Palatine families. This all-volunteer food pantry on wheels travels directly into different apartment communities on a rotating basis — relieving families of the burden of traveling to pick up food.
Since opening his own office in 2009, Attorney Richardson has supported his local community through various efforts. He awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors and, most recently, supported coat drives and Palatine's Youth Hunger Opposition (YHOP).

About the All Saints Food Pantry (ASFP)
The ASFP is an extension of the ministries of All Saints Lutheran Church and operates from the Community Resource Center at 1585 N Rand Rd, Palatine. For those in need, groceries are distributed at this location 4 pm to 6 pm every Thursday and from 9 am to 12 pm every Saturday morning.
