Paris Baguette Set to Open in Ithaca at 125 East State Street
Bakery café franchise to bring moments of joy to its customers in the Ithaca community this August.
ITHACA, N.Y., Aug. 15, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Paris Baguette, the bakery café franchise with more than 4,000 units across the globe, is set to open a new location in Ithaca at 125 East State Street. The new cafe is part of a single-unit development deal that was recently completed with Yeonseok Song, who previously spent her career in banking, to expand the brand across the state of New York.
Song, a South Korean immigrant, previously worked as a bank teller for the past 11 years in her home country. In 2017, Song and her family relocated to Ithaca after her husband began his studies at Cornell University. Once there, she fell in love with the diverse community and knew that Paris Baguette would be a great fit. Following opening their Ithaca location, Song and her family hope to add an additional location near the Cornell campus in the next three to five years.

Song has always had a passion for baking and spent a number of years in culinary school learning about patisserie. She became familiar with Paris Baguette because of the brand's strong presence in South Korea and was taken by their high-quality products. Now, Song is taking advantage of the opportunity to turn her hobby into her full-time career with the opening of her Ithaca location.
