Peoplesway.Com, Inc., Issues Statement About Recent Unauthorized Press Releases
Peoplesway has been made aware of unauthorized press releases and false information being distributed. Contact has been made with the offender, with no response.
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Peoplesway.com, Inc. announced today that they are initiating a corporate investigation into two separate press releases that were distributed by a Unnamed National Press Release Distributor ("UNPRD") in November 2018 and March 2019 that contained false statements about the Company's activities, future plans, relationships with third parties and other misleading statements and characterizations about Peoplesway.
These unauthorized press releases did not originate from the Company and seem to have been initiated by a third party/(parties) who are unknown and unrelated to the Company. We strongly condemn this activity and would like to caution investors to be wary about future press releases that may be released via UNPRD about our Company activities. The Company has not done business with UNPRD in the past and any future news publications and press distributions from UNPRD about Peoplesway.com, Inc. should be read with caution.
UNPRD has been contacted directly by the CEO of Peoplesway.com, Inc. on two occasions and offered the opportunity to publish a retraction of the misleading press releases. The requested retraction has not been forthcoming.
The following is a confirmed statement from Gene Johnston the CEO of Peoplesway.com, Inc., "The Unauthorized Press Releases published and distributed in November 2018 and March 2019 were not authorized by us and investors should be cautioned not to rely on any of the information contained within them. For information about the Company interested parties should review prior press releases and filings with the OTC Markets. We strongly condemn this unethical and illegal activity. We are exploring opportunities to improve shareholder value, but we have had no discussions related to these false and misleading press releases."
Gene Johnston, CEO also stated, "I would like to declare that Peoplesway and its officers have not benefitted in any way from the publication and distribution of this false information and are seeking to determine what legal action can be taken against the perpetrators."
