Petro Guardian Hires Graham “Scooter” Beachum III As Director Of Permian Region, Expands Footprint In Permian Basin
MIDLAND, Texas (PRWEB) August 02, 2018 -- Petro Guardian, the leader in lightning and static protection for production and saltwater disposal facilities, is pleased to announce the hiring of Graham “Scooter” Beachum III as the Director of Permian Region. Within this role, Scooter will focus on implementing strategic business expansion plans in new customer acquisition, existing customer support, implementation of turnkey services and provisioning of continued inspection and preventive maintenance within the Permian Basin.
Scooter brings 25 years of diversified management skills to the Petro Guardian team. His last 12 years focused on the oil and gas industry, specifically in exploration, drilling and completions. “ We look forward to Scooter’s market experience and the competitive positioning he brings to Petro Guardian’s Permian Operations,” said Harshul Gupta, VP of Technology.

Prior to joining Petro Guardian, Scooter held Business Development positions with Nabors Drilling Technologies, Koch Industries, and Halliburton in Midland, Texas. In these roles Scooter focused on the areas of West Texas and New Mexico providing drilling and completion solutions to oil and gas operators. This time allowed Scooter to build his knowledge and experience in the Permian Region. Predating his work in oil and gas, Scooter’s career was focused on the software industry in Texas and Southern California.
Scooter earned both a Bachelor's and Master’s degree, focusing on Marketing and MIS. His systematic mindset made him the perfect ambassador for Petro Guardian’s risk mitigating lightning and static protection system. He is a current member and Treasurer of the Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling.
Petro Guardian manufactures UL96 listed lightning protection parts, designs and installs standardized lightning and static protection systems, and provides annual inspection and preventative maintenance services to prevent ignition due to lightning or static discharge at production and salt water disposal companies.
