Plant-Based ForA:Butter Relaunches with Improved, Better-for-Baking Formula
ForA:Butter, the only plant-based butter with a Michelin-starred chef's seal of approval, is launching its new and improved product at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West show.
NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ForA:Butter, the only plant-based butter with a Michelin-starred chef's seal of approval, is launching its new and improved product at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West show. Originally named FabaButter, the ForA team kept the best parts of this dairy-free product and improved the recipe for better baking results. The new ForA:Butter bakes, cooks, clarifies, spreads and tastes exactly like traditional butter but is better for both consumers and the environment.
ForA:Butter is a natural, no-cholesterol food with lower sodium than traditional butter. It features a seven-plus month shelf life — twice the length of dairy butter — and can be used as a 1:1 substitution in every application. In addition to its cruelty-free and allergen-friendly benefits, ForA:Butter is more sustainable than dairy butter and features lower greenhouse gas emissions. This innovative product has previously won both the 2018 Sofi Award for Best New Dairy Alternative and 2019 Fabi Award for Best New Product. The company was one of six businesses invited to join the initial Mars Seeds of Change Accelerator class in 2019, and the latest round of ForA funding was co-led by Peter Rahal, co-founder of RXBAR and managing director of Litani Ventures.
As part of its relaunch, the ForA team is pleased to announce a partnership with Dot Foods for all foodservice orders and a national retail launch coming in April 2020. Attendees can sample ForA:Butter croissants at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West show on March 4 - 6, 2020, in Anaheim, California, at booth N1904 in the North Hall Hot Products area.
