PowerSchool Announces New Customer Event, PowerSchool EDGE, to Bring Together the Brightest Minds in K-12 Education
FOLSOM, Calif. (PRWEB) January 30, 2019 -- PowerSchool, a leading provider of K-12 education technology solutions, today announced PowerSchool EDGE, their inaugural customer event bringing together the brightest minds in K-12 education. EDGE will feature a community of educators, thought leaders, and experts who are passionate about education and the technology that powers it. PowerSchool EDGE will be held February 25–27, 2019, in Orlando, Florida, at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista.
PowerSchool EDGE will provide a forum for everyone using PowerSchool solutions to learn and share best practices as well as receive expert training across all products. Attendees will also gain insight into PowerSchool’s vision for K-12 education, product roadmap, and plans to deliver customer success for the upcoming year. PowerSchool EDGE will also create an environment for people to connect and share ideas and discuss issues to improve education within their school, district, and beyond.

The event will feature an inspiring keynote presentation by Erin Gruwell, the teacher who founded the Freedom Writers Foundation with her 150 students. Armed with pens and composition notebooks, she changed the course of their lives through writing and challenged them and the education system to be better.
PowerSchool EDGE attendees can choose from four focused conference tracks in curriculum, technology, HR, and finance. Each track features a balance of thought leader and product best practice sessions led by PowerSchool subject matter experts, customers, and partners.
- Talent Track — designed to advance and improve recruitment, hiring, onboarding, absence management, professional development, and evaluation processes.
- Operations, Finance, & HR Track — featuring sessions focused on roles that combine the central office, student data management, state reporting, staffing, finances, and budgeting.
- Classroom Track — learn about the tools and resources teachers use to help save time and spend more time with students, improve student outcomes with better insights, and simplify communications for families.
- Administration/SIS Track — for administrators, data managers, and registrars who handle enrollment, student information system data entry, and insights.
Attendees will also be able to see keynotes from Hardeep Gulati, PowerSchool CEO, on “Shaping the Future of K-12,” and by Marcy Daniel, Chief Product Officer, on “Creating the Path to Brighter K-12 Futures.”
For customers interested in deep dive product training, PowerSchool University (PSU) Orlando forms the University Program of EDGE and is held Feb. 24-28, 2018. PSU attendees will have access to all EDGE keynote and thought leadership sessions, as well as PSU’s 75+ accredited, in-depth workshops for end users to master skills using PowerSchool solutions.
