Pulse by Fierce Launches Pulse Coach; Merging Innovation and Coaching as Global Workforce Navigates High Levels of Stress and Burnout
SEATTLE (PRWEB) May 24, 2023 -- Pulse by Fierce is breaking new ground in innovation with the launch of Pulse Coach, a coaching certification designed to help business, enterprise, and individuals tackle the mental health crisis at work and home while driving ROI and positive outcomes. The Pulse Coach certification is available to coaches around the globe, expanding this impactful tool from the workplace into the consumer market.
Pulse Coach revolutionizes coaching with biometrics and technology to drive behavioral changes. Through wearable devices, a user’s heart rate variability (HRV) data empowers coaches to build emotional intelligence and a new level of consciousness for users. Traditional coaching fails to empower coachees to participate in sessions with deep self-awareness, an inefficient process when time is of the essence. Traditional coaching can take weeks of multiple sessions to get to the root cause. Pulse Coach allows users to do the same in just 90 minutes!
Work related stress is a global epidemic, causing an estimated annual loss of 12B working days, costing the world economy $1T yearly.
Pulse Coach is modeled after coaching sessions users of Pulse by Fierce have been benefiting from since 2022. The very first of its kind, the Pulse app has been proclaimed the “Fitbit of corporate America.” Users have experienced up to 40% drops in stress after one 90 minute coaching session and just two weeks of using Pulse!
“The Pulse app exceeded our expectations in driving stress reduction and building sustainable resilience for Pulse’s inaugural class of partners. We heard consistently that the quality and efficiency of Pulse coaching was unparalleled. In retrospect, it makes sense; the body doesn’t like stress, when you feel its effects, the body is responding to your environment and telling you when you need something,” said Edward J. Beltran, CEO of Fierce Conversations, the Seattle-based leadership development organization that created Pulse.
Pulse connects HRV with a user’s calendar and GPS data, providing hour-by-hour stress scores that narrow stress triggers to a time and place. This empowers users with self-awareness and tools for emotional intelligence, including coaching. No other entity currently offers the ability to incorporate biometric data into coaching!
“The biometric data available to coaches enabled the ability to quickly dive into what was happening in the coachees’ lives and more importantly, take action to remediate. The coaching community has embraced and asked for Pulse and we are beyond elated to offer it as a tool to positively impact their clients' lives,” Mr. Beltran continued.
The Pulse Coach certification is available to independent coaches and coaches within Fierce partner companies. The Pulse app and its coaching tools were previously only available within the workplace of Pulse partners. Now it can be accessed by more coaches, including coaching practices working with individuals inside and outside the workplace.
“The data is clear, we are at a moment of unprecedented levels of stress in our lives. We are accustomed to managing stress ‘in general’ which comprises traditional approaches like better diet, sleep, meditation, and exercise, which does help but doesn't get to the root of the stress which inevitably requires conversations with oneself and others. Self-awareness is critical in this process and we are humbled to have an end-to-end solution to support this and the actions required in people’s lives,” Mr. Beltran added.
Overall, users of Pulse have reduced stress by an average of 9-10%, reduced burnout by 8%, and reduced anxiety by 14%. Coaching in particular has been a driving force behind these significant results.
