Purse Building Developer Gives Back To At Risk Mothers By Launching Pack The Purse Campaign
DALLAS, Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Tanya Ragan teamed up with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and Full City Rooster to host the first ever Pack the Purse Dallas event this weekend. Ragan and Co. were able to pack almost 300 new and gently used purses with daily necessities for at-risk mothers as part of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas' Strong Start program. So many women will be filled with joy when they receive these amazing purses. What a way to Unite and Do Great!" said Dr. Roslind Blasingame-Buford.
Adam Medrano, City of Dallas, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem , Assistant Chief of Dallas Police Department, Lonzo Anderson, along with local citizens and community members all showed up to Full City Rooster on Saturday and spent the afternoon working to help Dallas' at-risk mothers and their children.
While at the event, Adam Medrano said, "Thank you Tanya Ragan and wildcat management for your ongoing support of our community, both professionally with the purse building rehabilitation and personally with your volunteer work, serving on the city commission and philanthropy that helps so many. This was a great cause. It was a fun day of packing purses and community camaraderie."
Ragan is calling all women business leaders to step up and give back to women in their community by hosting their own pack the purse event or another initiative.
