RCN Lehigh Valley to Host 33rd Annual Dream Come True Telethon and Auction on December 3
LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (PRWEB) November 29, 2018 -- RCN Lehigh Valley, an award-winning high-speed internet, digital TV and phone services provider, is teaming up with Dream Come True, a non-profit dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children who are seriously, chronically or terminally ill in the Greater Lehigh Valley area, for its 33rd Annual Dream Come True Telethon and online auction.
Dream Come True will once again partner with RCN to produce and broadcast the Dream Come True Telethon which raises vital funds for the organization. Last year, the auction raised over $100,000.
RCN will air the program live on RCN TV (channel 4, HD 1004) on December 3, from 6 - 9 p.m., broadcasting from RCN’s TV studio in Bath, PA. This year’s hosts include RCN TV Sports Director and broadcaster, Gary Laubach; and RCN TV broadcasters Scott Barr and Devon Almonte, for a night of heartwarming entertainment including interviews with former dream recipients and involved community members.
The live online auction, which opened on November 19, features unique items such as autographed baseballs, 76ers tickets and more, donated by RCN’s partners and local supporters including HBO, iHeartMedia, Lehigh Valley Style and The Morning Call. Those interested in participating ahead of time can review items and make bids online through 8:30 p.m. on December 3.
