Rappahannock Development Group Expands Executive Team
Rappahannock Development Group (RDG), a real estate development and investment company, announces the expansion of executive team to accommodate strategic growth initiatives.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Nov. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tommy Prate has been named Chief Investment Officer. His responsibilities include all investment structure, regulatory compliance, asset management growth, and investor relations. Tommy brings more than twenty years of experience in the hedge fund, private equity, and residential real estate investment space.
Prior to joining the RDG team, Tommy was a co-founder of Austin, Texas based Magnify Capital, a real estate investment firm focused on the Single Family Residential asset class. He previously held positions of Chief Operating Officer of e360 Power, Chief Operating Officer at Stratfor Global Intelligence, Treasurer and Director of Global Operations for Ospraie Management, and began his career at renowned hedge fund, Tudor Investment Corporation. Tommy received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management & Political Science from Manhattanville College in Westchester, NY.
Chris Hornung has been promoted to Chief Development Officer. He will oversee all RDG development projects and be responsible for implementing RDG's strategic growth initiatives nation-wide. Chris brings more than twenty-five years experience managing the acquisition, planning, permitting, construction, and sale of residential, commercial, and industrial development projects.
Mr. Hornung joined RDG as Vice President of Development in 2018. Prior to joining the RDG team, Chris was the Vice President of Planning & Engineering at the Silver Companies. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
