RedAwning CMO Heather Richer To Present on Compression and the Impact of New Supply At Upcoming Hotel Data Conference in Nashville, TN. August 14-16
In partnership with STR, Richer will present on supply and the impact to compression nights for the lodging industry
EMERYVILLE, Calif., August 08, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RedAwning.com, the world's largest network of vacation rental properties, today announced that Heather Richer, RedAwning's Chief Marketing Officer will be co-hosting a breakout exploring compression and the impact of new supply at upcoming Hotel Data Conference in Nashville, TN. August 14-16. This discussion will be co-presented by STR Director of Research and Development, Jessica Haywood and moderated by Elizabeth Randall Winkle and Panelist Alison Taylor, American Airlines.
The Hotel Data Conference is an annual gathering of industry executives with a specific interest in sourcing and applying data to understand the industry landscape and improving overall performance.
During her upcoming session, Richer will lead a conversation exploring disruption, collaboration and business in the travel space. "The lodging industry is evolving everyday and it's an exciting time to be in this space. Whether it's changing consumer preferences, advancements in technology, or new brand offerings, we have to continuously improve to stay ahead of the pack," said Richer. "The way the lodging industry has understood and defined supply is changing. We're going to explore how short-term rental accommodation supply may impact compression nights in the hotel space through different lenses: by day of the week, hotel type, event type, and many other ways. The discussion will also address how those hurdles can be approached with confidence and composure to ensure long-term success."
Richer has an extensive background in developing and executing effective revenue management strategies for luxury boutique hotel chain, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. She joined RedAwning's executive team as CMO in early 2018 to help lead RedAwning through rapid international and national expansion of its property portfolio, and continuing RedAwning's drive to bring the trust, ease, and convenience of hotel-style booking and services to the largest single network of vacation homes and apartments worldwide.
This Presentation will be held August 15, 2019, from 11:50 AM - 12:50 PM in the General Griffin Ballroom at the JW Marriott, Nashville. More information can be found here.
