Registration Opens for Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Geothermal Resources Council Annual Meeting
DAVIS, Calif. (PRWEB) July 12, 2018 -- The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) has announced more details of events at the world’s largest annual geothermal energy conference, being held this year at the Peppermill Resort Spa & Casino in Reno, Nevada, USA, October 14-17, 2018.
Just before the start of the GRC Annual Meeting & Expo, the GRC Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place October 14 at the Sunridge Golf Club in Carson City, south of Reno. Registration for the tournament is now open.
This year the proceeds from the tournament will go to the GRC Scholarship Fund. Last year the event helped to support six students in the geothermal energy community.
At 4,700 feet elevation, the Sunridge Golf course is a pleasure for golfers of any skill level to play. The course will challenge you while providing a relaxing, picturesque backdrop of the Sierra Nevada.

The GRC Annual Meeting & Expo is the industry’s largest annual gathering of leading geothermal energy scientists, producers, renewable energy industry stakeholders, regulators, utilities, and key associated business leaders. The four-day event will offer technical, policy, and market conference sessions, educational seminars, tours of local geothermal and renewable energy projects, and numerous networking opportunities.
