Retirement Industry Trust Association [RITA] to Host Two Upcoming Educational Events for Self-Directed IRA Professionals
SARASOTA, Fla. (PRWEB) August 01, 2018 -- The Retirement Industry Trust Association [RITA] today announced two educational events for financial professionals in the self-directed IRA industry. As more money flows into IRAs; currently valued at over $9 trillion, retirement plan professionals must stay abreast of the ever-changing landscape, says Tom Anderson, President of RITA.
The IRA Institute
Employees of trust companies, IRA plan administrators and bank examiners are encouraged to attend The IRA Institute – a 3-day intense course on the fundamentals of self-directed IRAs. “The speakers were subject matter experts, and able to talk fluently about the rules and regulations that govern our industry. Breakout sessions helped to stimulate discussion and add real-life examples and scenarios to the conference, and to also share best practices. The IRA Institute provides valuable training and insights, and is a foundational part of the training program for our staff, says Mark Lee, PENSCO Trust Company. Graduates will receive the Self-Directed Industry Professional (SDIP) certification.
