Running Swim Meets Just Got Easier: Meet Maestro Integrates with Wylas Timing
Newly built integration between wireless stopwatches by Wylas and Meet Maestro swim meet software brings together two contemporary systems to help swim meets run more efficiently
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In its upcoming desktop release, Meet Maestro adds the ability to use the latest version of the Wylas Timing Recorder software. The Wylas Timing System instantly syncs swim time data into Meet Maestro meet software, saving time for swim meet volunteers and giving fans immediate access to results. Both platforms were created to be intuitive and feature modern user interfaces. By using the two systems together, swim meet administrators and volunteers are able to eliminate training time and errors and simplify running swim meets.
Wylas Timing, an Australian company, provides an innovative, fully wireless timing system that features interactive, phone-based stopwatches and a wireless starter unit. The Wylas system also supports wireless integration with touchpads, scoreboards, and starter units from additional vendors via optional adapters.
Meet Maestro, the swim meet software platform from Austin-based SwimTopia, features a modern, intuitive user interface for running swim meets. Meet Maestro is easy to learn and use, and has been saving time and eliminating frustration for team volunteers across thousands of swim meets per year.
"Wylas is bringing new technological innovation to make running swim meets easier and more efficient. We are thrilled to provide a seamless integration with this exciting new timing system option for Meet Maestro customers," said Mason Hale, Founder and CEO of SwimTopia.
Because the Wylas wireless stopwatch data can be loaded directly into Meet Maestro, there is no need for swim volunteers to write anything down or do any data entry. The Wylas timing units start automatically with the start gun and display the event, heat, and swimmer name, so there is nothing more for the timer to do than stop the watch at the end of the race. The computer operator loads the times from the race into Meet Maestro with one click. Wylas Timing also offers scoreboards, and even the ability to adapt a TV into a simple scoreboard. And Meet Maestro's companion mobile app, SwimTopia Mobile, displays the results instantly for spectators. SwimTopia Mobile also updates any disqualifications, overall places, points, and meet scores once results of each event are complete.
"At Wylas, we've put a lot of effort into bringing advanced technology to swim meet timing and making it easy to use. With its modern and intuitive user interface, pairing Meet Maestro with Wylas makes for a great combo to run swim meets easier and faster than ever before," said William Ferguson, Founder and CEO of Wylas Timing.
