Russ Meyer announces the release of 'The Fat Lady Sings' sequel
What stories are there to unfold in 'After the Fedora'?
NEW PRAGUE, Minn., Jan. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Russ Meyer's "After the Fedora" (published by Xlibris) continues where "The Fat Lady Sings" left off, with the street musician, Zutty, having Byroan's fedora. Byroan is further convinced by a stranglehold from Zutty's mother that he needs to find the missing musician. Byroan then intends to take back his fedora. The search includes Duluth, Minnesota, Memphis, and Durham, North Carolina.
Meyer thought that the characters had a lot of story left, and that persuaded him to write the sequel.
"The classic investigator genre is something I've always enjoyed reading and viewing, and now enjoy writing about. I research the topics and locations before I begin writing," Meyer says.
Subjects such as the consequences of foreign trade and the difficulty of remaining hidden in a technological world are tackled in the book. Meyer wants his readers to enjoy some bemused entertainment as they read this story.
The main characters, Byroan and Mabel, are ordinary people that readers will enjoy identifying with, according to Meyer.
