Ferrara as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ferrara has 30 years of experience guiding top financial companies’ initiatives including as CFO for TheStreet, Inc., a company founded by Jim Cramer of CNBC’s Mad Money and SPACE.com founded by Lou Dobbs of CNN’s Moneyline. Ferrara has held several other CFO positions including EDGAR Online, Inc.
Ferrara has significant experience in strategy, finance, and operations through his background at two Fortune 500 corporations and a Big Four public accounting firm. As an advisor to the CEO, partner to operating management and key contact to the financial community, he has developed and executed plans to improve operational efficiencies, increase profitability and build shareholder value. He also has served on the board of directors at four public companies. Ferrara holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Ferrara’s most recent and relatable experience was as CFO for Cartesian, Inc., a consulting firm focused on the global telecommunications, media and technology industries. His domestic and international experience in the communications sector spans all aspects of finance, operations and mergers and acquisitions.
