Perceptive Automata's CTO and Co-Founder joins PAVE's Board
BOSTON, Oct. 26, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ --In 2019, Perceptive Automata joined the Partners for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE) in support of PAVE's mission of educating policymakers and the public about the potential of automated vehicles. Raising public awareness of today's driverless technology and what is possible in the future is essential in improving the safety, mobility, and sustainability of autonomous vehicle technology. Through the PAVE Coalition, industry leaders and nonprofit organizations collaborate to ensure autonomous vehicle policy is shaped with safety as a priority and that the public has a transparent resource for understanding how self-driving technology works.
In September, Perceptive Automata Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, Sam Anthony, joined PAVE's Board of Directors. PAVE's Board of Directors consists of leaders and key stakeholders across the automated vehicle industry, including automotive and tech industries, advocacy groups, and consumer organizations. "PAVE is thrilled to welcome Sam Anthony to our Board of Directors," said PAVE Executive Director Tara Andringa. "The diverse backgrounds of our Board members enrich our work and help us raise the level of public knowledge about AVs. Sam's broad experience and his insights into human cognition will offer important new contributions to PAVE's mission."
"I am excited to be joining PAVE's Board of Directors at a time of significant growth in the autonomous vehicle industry," said Sam Anthony. "I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to this Coalition's important work of raising public awareness of the potential of driverless technology."
