Sameer Singla is Appointed Aristech Surfaces Chief Commercial Officer

FLORENCE, Ky., Feb. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Aristech Surfaces LLC today announced the appointment of Sameer Singla as Chief Commercial Officer.

Sameer brings 20 plus years of global commercial, manufacturing and distribution business experience. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that have resulted in significant financial growth across a variety of industries, including global specialty chemicals, thermoplastics and industrial distribution. Most recently, he was a Transaction Advisor for a private equity firm in the global material science space. Prior to that, Sameer was President and General Manager of SABIC Functional Forms and SABIC Polymershapes, one of the largest sheet-and-film distributors in the US, and was director of global growth initiatives at Ashland, Inc.

Sameer has resided and run businesses in multiple geographies, including China and India. His educational background includes bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Syracuse University and an MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
