Scientist Will Happer Rejects Climate Change Catastrophe Claims like those of The Climate Psychologist and Child Activist says Friends of Science Society
CALGARY, Alberta (PRWEB) February 27, 2019 -- As reported by Bloomberg, Feb. 22, 2019, Professor Will Happer of Princeton University, has been tapped as part of President Trump’s critical review panel on climate change, says Friends of Science. Happer’s perspective is diametrically opposed to popular figures like child activist Greta Thunberg and “The Climate Psychologist” Margaret Klein Salamon, both of whom intentionally incite public fear by claiming that ‘our house is on fire’ and we must panic, as laid out in Klein’s plan, discussed below.
In a well documented blog post on The Wrong Kind of Green of Feb. 3, 2019, "The Manufacturing Of Greta Thunberg – For Consent: The House Is On Fire! & The 90 Trillion Dollar Rescue," traces the various commercial and global eco-group forces promoting young Greta Thunberg as a climate crisis advocate, which will serve their vested commercial interests. They note that much of Greta’s commentary appears to echo that of The Climate Mobilization project, where clinical psychologist Salamon advocates for terrifying the public into action, on a crisis that many scientists, like Happer, say does not exist.
A calm and rational public debate on climate change and energy policies is crucial to counter the radical demands of the Green New Deal, says Friends of Science.
Open debate has been hampered by constant demonizing of dissenting scientific voices, says Friends of Science. They note that the method of another psychologist, Lewandowsky, which they term as “Throw Mud – It will Stick,” has been effectively used to silence and denigrate dissenters, by those who believe in or promote the catastrophe scenario.
As early as May 13, 2005, in Science Magazine, following the publication of Naomi Oreskes’ ‘consensus’ essay, Roger Pielke, Jr. then called for a more robust consideration: “…a buffer against the possibility that we might learn more in the future.”
Indeed, we have learned more, says Friends of Science.
Some 85 recent peer-reviewed papers, archived on the No Tricks Zone blog, entitled "The List Grows – Now 85 Scientific Papers Assert CO2 Has A Minuscule Effect On The Climate," assert that carbon dioxide is a nominal factor in warming or climate change.
Physicist François Gervais, Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Tours (France) presented the "Cooling of Climate Sensitivity - Anthropogenic CO2 Global Warming Challenged by 60-Year Cycle" at the Porto Basic Climate Science Conference, Sept. 2018.
Friends of Science Society encourages the public to review on-going climate change research, to reject hysterics, and to keep calm. Taxpayers must demand full cost-benefit analysis, open, civil debate and S.M.A.R.T. goals, as outlined in Friends of Science Society’s report “Faulty Premises = Poor Public Policy on Climate.”
