Skyline Contracting Celebrates a Successful 2023 Season as Coaches and Sponsors with the Gainesville Parks and Recreation Baseball Program

During the 2023 baseball season, Skyline Contracting President, Wes Hall, demonstrated his commitment to the community and passion for sports by coaching two teams in the Rookie and Minor Leagues. Alongside head coach Daniel Caldwell, of Caldwell Electrical Contractors, Wes Hall and Chris Russell, of Skyline Contracting, led the Braves in the Minor League. Their sons Jake Hall and Ridge Russell were key players. In the Rookie League, Mr. Hall, together with Mr. Russell also coached the Athletics team, which included their sons Tucker Hall and Cannon Russell. The young stars played alongside Jack Caverzasi, whose father, Mike Caverzasi, also contributed as one of the team's coaches. These efforts exemplify Skyline Contracting's dedication to nurturing young talent and fostering a positive sports culture in the Gainesville community.
A highlight of the season came when the Gainesville 8U all-star team achieved the remarkable feat of taking home the State Championship. The success of this team speaks to the commitment and talent of the players, coaches, and everyone involved in the Gainesville Parks and Recreation baseball leagues.
In the Tee Ball League, Skyline Contracting's own Scott Hearn served as head coach for the Cardinals, and his son Weston Hearn was an active player on the team. Skyline Contracting is incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to sponsor these leagues and work closely with such talented and bright young athletes. Their involvement is a testament to Skyline’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and thriving sports environment for children in Gainesville.
