The total prize pool for Brazil will be of 60,000 BRL and 25,000 USD for the WEST region.
Smilegate Entertainment commented that despite the shrink of overall esports competitions due to the COVID-19, CROSSFIRE will hold their professional league with all due precautions in place both for the safety and career of the player.
"Every year, before the CFEL starts we try our best to meet with professional players and discuss important points regarding the professional elite league, but this year due to the COVID-19, we had no other choice than to begin the league without a prior meeting with the players," said Brady Yeo, Head of CROSSFIRE esports in Smilegate Entertainment. "Amidst the current situation around the world, we are delighted that we can hold this tournament as our promise to the players and we will do our best to ensure the safety for all of our players and fans."
