Board-certified surgeons bring extensive experience to leading specialty eye center

Dr. JD Bonner and Dr. Will Whitmire will continue to provide the highest level of service to patients at both the Soddy Daisy and Dayton locations. Dr. J.D. Bonner, a board-certified ophthalmologist, received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama. He then completed a four-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga.

A native of the Chattanooga area, Dr. Whitmire attended McCallie school, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and completed his internship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and an Ophthalmology Residency at Texas A&M College of Medicine.
