New 15, 000 square foot addition of Extreme Play coming to Family Entertainment Destination.
MT. KISCO, N.Y., August 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Grand Prix New York Racing & Entertainment is set to bring a new level of excitement and speed to the thrill-seekers of Westchester County with the launch of their multi-level track as well as the Grand Prix Extreme Play (GPX) park. The addition of the multi-level track and 'GPX' will be unveiled at a special launch party open to the press and special guests on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 6 to 9pm at Grand Prix New York Racing & Entertainment, 333 North Bedford Road, Mount Kisco, NY 10549; further elevating Grand Prix New York Racing and Entertainment as the premier venue for racing and entertainment in Westchester County.
The new multi-level track will go from 0 to 8.6 ft and include up to 1,700 linear ft of track for adults, 295 ft of track for juniors and a special 141 ft of track for the littler starters ages 4 – 6. The Adult Track will include hairpins, spiral ramp, constant radium turns, banked semi-oval turns, increasing radius turns, and elevation changes, with a projection of the fastest lap time of 46 seconds, and it's even equipped with cool cosmic lighting. Safety is paramount, this state-of-the-art flexible barrier system from Track 360 is equipped with electronically controlled karts, which will enable auto slowing or stopping if an accident is detected on the track.
In addition to the multi-level track, all ages are going to love the new Grand Prix Extreme Play park, which will feature almost 10,000 square feet of attractions including 13 climbing walls and structures, a ninja obstacle course with gravity-defying obstacles, an 80' zip line, bouldering wall, rotating log elements known as the "Meat Grindr" and a dodge ball play area.
