Stephen LeRoux Endowment Fund Established at Community Foundation
New fund will provide grants to local nonprofits
FREDERICK, Md., Aug. 26, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Stephen LeRoux Endowment Fund has been established with The Community Foundation of Frederick County and becomes one of its more than 770 component charitable funds.
Stephen LeRoux was a dedicated attorney, who advocated passionately for families and children, and was inspired to stand up for those who couldn't stand up for themselves. Founded by Emily N. Seifarth in memory of her husband Stephen, this fund will provide grants to local nonprofit organizations that support people in underserved or vulnerable populations with legal expenses or legal representation. Although his life was far too short, Stephen's legacy of love, selflessness, and service to others will carry forward through the fund to the Frederick County community.
