Richmond Supply extends its strategic relationship with StrikeTru to accelerate eCommerce growth
HOUSTON, Dec. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- StrikeTru, a disruptive digital services firm is helping Richmond Supply Inc. a wholesale distributor of Industrial Supplies, maneuver its growth initiatives with a fully integrated cloud-based connector solution that allows Affiliated Distributors (AD) members to integrate AD eContent Services, with ERP, PIM and eCommerce systems to streamline and automate product content workflows.
This end to end product information management for eCommerce project is part of RSC's aim to be more efficient, agile and responsive and to expand its business in the face of evolving circumstances. StrikeTru will deploy its AD eContent Data connector for Akeneo PIM to streamline the process of onboarding new and updated products from AD into RSC's ERP, PIM, and Magento applications. The data will be sourced from Affiliated Distributors eContent database that houses over 4 million richly described products. The connector will not only help minimize the cost of acquiring and deploying AD eContent for RSC's growth initiatives but equip them to onboard and manage large product data sets from multiple sources, increase the breadth and depth of its product lineups, drive greater operational efficiencies and offer a best-in-class eCommerce environment to its customers.
With this project, Richmond Supply is extending its relationship with StrikeTru to help meet their growing digital transformation and product content needs.
