Sunset World Group Employees Will Celebrate a Great 2019-Year Helping Their Community

2019 began with an emotional Three Kings Day celebration at Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club, one of Sunset World Group hotels. The goal of the event was to bring joy and hope to children of the Aitana Foundation, an association that provides support to children with cancer, and was attended by 29 children accompanied by their parents.
It was an unforgettable afternoon, full of fun, gifts, contests and delicious food. The hotel employees organized the event with love. The maintenance department did an excellent job with the decorations. The food and beverages department prepared a delicious taco bar, and the activites team held fun contests and handed out toys collected during the Sunset Boat Parade, held last December.
On April 30, a Children's Day party was held at La Vela restaurant in Sunset Marina, where the guests of honor were children supported by Benito Juárez Municipal DIF. Once again, hotel employees were responsible for preparing for the event.
The maintenance department was in charge of the decorations. The children enjoyed healthy snacks, hamburgers and cake, all prepared with love by the food and beverages department. The members of the entertainment team worked their magic with fun activities that included the children's favorite princesses and superheroes. As a special surprise, each child received a package containing candy and a toy, which brought smiles to their faces.
Both events were held in a very safe environment thanks to the security department's participation. The safety of the attendees was their top priority.
Sunset World Group seeks to help in various different ways, so in addition to lifting children's' spirits, it supports institutions like Benito Juárez DIF and civil associations like the Golden Years Club, which is dedicated to providing activities and services to the elderly. To date, Sunset has donated more than two thousand items, including towels, sheets, curtains, mattress covers, uniforms and mattresses.
These donations come from the chain's six hotels. Thanks to the commitment and dedication of the housekeeping and spa departments, the beneficiaries receive the items in very good condition. Employees wash the items and prepare them for delivery.
Sunset World Group also cares about the environment, motivating and raising awareness among members, guests and employees about the importance of caring for and conserving the area's beautiful beaches and marine fauna.
Actions include beach cleaning brigades, which in addition to creating a positive effect on nature, encourage employee teamwork. But above all, it allows members, guests and locals to enjoy the splendor of the Mexican Caribbean on clean beaches. It is important to note that the Sunset World maintenance and security teams do an outstanding job of cleaning the beaches clean daily, as well as the lagoon area at Sunset Marina.
In order to counteract the damage that man has caused to species like the sea turtle, Sunset World Group continually trains its employees based on the protocols established by the Federal Attorney's Office of Environmental Protection (PROFEPA), and actively participates in the Marine Turtle Protection Program.
