The revamped app includes innovative new features to improve the meet-day experience for SwimTopia users.
With hundreds of athletes competing in dozens of events, swim meets frequently extend to five hours or more, yet a swimmer may end up racing only a few minutes per meet. If athletes and spectators don’t keep track of their upcoming events, they can easily miss a race — a major source of anxiety for swimmers, parents, and coaches.
The latest SwimTopia mobile app introduces several new features that make it easier and more enjoyable to stay up-to-date at swim meets:
- The new SwimTopia Live Bar shows the current event and heat that’s being swum, making it easy for parents and athletes to follow the progress of the meet so they won’t miss another race.
- The Meet Overview conveniently summarizes all the swim events for the entire family in one place, including estimated start times for each event, making it easier for parents to keep track of all their kids’ upcoming races.
- When used in concert with SwimTopia’s new meet management software, Meet Maestro™, additional information is available and updated live during the meet, including heat sheets, race results and team scores.
