TMW partners with Greenshades Software, announces new integration
CLEVELAND (PRWEB) September 06, 2018 -- TMW, a Trimble brand and leading provider of software, business intelligence and related solutions to the North American transportation industry, announced the integration of its TruckMate solution with Greenshades’ tax filing software. The integrated solution will enable TMW TruckMate customers to simplify the way they file taxes and ensure that customers can electronically file taxes according to mandates for U.S Federal and state levels as well as Canadian Federal and Provincial level.
Through the integration with Greenshades, TMW TruckMate’s payroll module customers can easily create electronic tax returns for submission to the receiving agencies while ensuring that it’s always in the correct format and with the proper specifications. The integration gives users the ability to create a quick, accurate tax return without having to manually enter data or be a technical professional, which helps save time and money while, at the same time, limiting mistakes caused by human error.
“This integration will close a significant gap for our customers while filing taxes,” said Ray West, senior vice president and general manager of TMS solutions at TMW. “Previously, customers would be able to create reports from the TruckMate TMS, but would then have to file them by hand. Now, because Greenshades is accredited at the federal, state and provincial levels to truly electronically file forms, it significantly reduces the amount of time customers spend on administrative work.”
The TruckMate accounting and payroll modules work together to create a complete accounting solution. The accounting module is a full-featured, integrated accounting system developed specifically for the trucking industry. Because every part of TruckMate works with a single database, information only has to be entered once. Then, it’s automatically in place for future uses. The payroll and returns generator module allows TruckMate users to generate payroll data and submit this information electronically to Canadian and U.S. tax agencies. The forms available include: T4's, 1099's, W2's, 940/941's and RL1's. Users can also print hard copy payroll reports using this program. This helps save time, reduce errors from manual data entry, links back office employees with operations for fast and seamless integration, and keeps information current.
